DC Owner Calls Out Officials Over Controversial No-Ball Using WPL Reference

With only a handful of games remaining in the league stage, 7 out of the 10 teams are still battling it out for a place in the IPL 2023 playoffs. While defending champions Gujarat Titans have already booked their berth in the playoffs, seven teams are in contention for a place in the last four. With almost no margin for error, one umpiring blunder could prove costly for the teams that are in contention. In general, the umpiring hasn't been up to the standards, especially considering the high quality of cricket that has been on display.

Ajit Agarkar Applies For Vacant Position In India Men's Selection Committee

Former India bowler Ajit Agarkar has applied for a position in India's senior men's selection committee, according to ESPNcricinfo. "If You Don't Play Him...": Ex BCCI President Surprised At Sarfaraz Khan Not Getting Picked For India

There has been a overgrowing feeling that even to get a nod in Test cricket, one needs to have a solid IPL like Ruturaj Gaikwad had. Former India captain and BCCI chairman Sourav Ganguly, though, disagrees with that notion. He said a prolific batter like Sarfaraz Khan, who could not do well in IPL, should get a chance to prove himself. "I think Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored tons of runs in Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy. I think that's why he is in the squad. I feel for Sarfaraz Khan. At some point he should get an opportunity for the amount of runs that he has scored in past three years," Ganguly told PTI.
